Part 1: Navigating Workers' Comp Claims

In this session, you'll learn:

• Ohio Workers' Comp Rules: Understand the specific regulations for compliance and effective claims management.
• Claims Management Strategies: Practical approaches to handle claims efficiently and minimize disruptions.
• Fraud Prevention: Identify and mitigate fraudulent claims to protect your company's financial health.

Part 2: Cultivating an Effective Workplace

This session covers:

• Preventing Sexual Harassment: Best practices for creating a respectful, harassment-free workplace.
• Non-DOT Drug and Alcohol Policy: Navigate drug and alcohol policies outside of DOT regulations.
• Mental Health Awareness: Strategies for promoting mental well-being and supporting employees.
• Workplace Safety Initiatives: Proactive measures for risk assessment, hazard identification, and employee training.

Individual sessions are $149 for OTA members and $199 for non-members. Attend both sessions for $249 for OTA members and $399 for non-members. All sessions will be hosted at the Ohio Trucking Association headquarters in Westerville and include lunch. Attendees can attend one or both parts of the compliance training.
